Description of Actual Services Provided:

The project is focused to ensure the basic need and the rights of access of rural poorest and excluded households to safe drinking water, good health and hygiene through promoting participatory local development process in rural community. The project promoted for institutionalizing “water and sanitation initiation” from local people with utilizing local resource to provide safe drinking water facilities for more than 275 HHs of rural areas and sanitation facilities for 1500 school children.

Major services provided in this assignment are:

• Technical assistance for water supply scheme feasibility survey, design estimation, and implementation process.
• Capacity building of water user group on management of water supply scheme.
• Initiate to conduct school sanitation programme
• Mobilization of youth/child clubs, women groups on sanitation and hygienic promotion
• Capacity building of local CBOs, community on local planning and their role in local planning and development process.
• Promote advocacy events with the engagement of local people to assure development planning benefitted for local marginalized people.
• Assist for participatory monitoring process in local development interventions
• Supervision, monitoring of the project’s intervention
